It probably works great if you knew what to do.

I have been a computer imaging professional for different marketing departments for over 30 years and finally kind of got a somewhat usable scan. I suspect the hardware is great. But 3dmakerpro needs some very clear, step by step quickstart videos for youtube. The only ones I've seen are some guy saying , Well first you make a scan, I just did that so I will show you how it came out. It is no surprise to me the number of people who say they bought one and 6 months later post it for sale because they never got it to work. It would be a big help if your website had a direct link to the software so I didn't have to search and see 20 companies that will let you download versions that are probably full of stomped on malware. I will give it 4 stars because it is probably a great product at a great price. If I would have created the public facing marketing for this brand when I was a career marketing guy I would have been fired. If I ever learn this new discipline I'll try to make a video better than what is out there.

Interesting product

This is my 1st 3D scanner, lots to learn on how far or how close I need to be when scanning. There isn't really hard copy instructions to go off of

Scanner works well - takes some getting used to

Scanner works well in the defined conditions. Using it and the software takes some patience and learning.
I was disappointed to note that scanning smaller objects (less than 200mm) was not really possible with the lynx. It can be done but they don't work well.
I am sure there is a way, but I have not been successful yet.
Still waiting for several months for a functional "connect" to be shipped.
